Our SEMI-PRIVATE FOR ADULTS ONLY Catamaran Cruises in Punta Cana takes place on a catamaran with no more than 35% of the registration's allowed passengers will be booked in order to provide the best personalized service and attention, making every guest feel like a VIP. Our snorkel catamaran tour excursion combines cruising along the Bavaro coast on the way to Cape Engano, where the Caribbean Sea begins. Upon arrival to our facilities, our Marine Biologist or one of our staff members, will educate you on the important details of our project, one of the 3 biggest coral gardening projects in the Dominican Republic, about coral gardening techniques.
Our first stop at Cabeza de Toro reef for snorkeling, a visit to a deserted beach and finally, a visit to the natural pool.
We will sail along the coast at a speed of 5 knots, through the most interesting sites along the way to the Cabeza de Toro reef. Your snorkeling experience is in a Coral Nursery where "The Ecological Bavaro Reefs" foundation has a conservation program that has been working on restoring its natural Habitat. The planting and building of these artificial reefs to actively progress marine life began in 2016. The Ministry of Environment has rated our project one of the 3 biggest coral gardening projects in the Dominican Republic. Our team will gladly explain the process to you during this stop.
Our second stop is the deserted beach, where we will serve you a delicious alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail prepared with fresh coconut water straight out of the coconut. The COCO-LOCO is a typical drink of the Dominican Republic. To round-up the perfect cruise, on our way back we will stop at the natural pool where the water depth is just 4 feet. This amazing stop is also home to artificial structures that resemble a reef where it allows beginner snorkelers to have a safe and fearless experience. Let's not forget to mention this is also the perfect spot to devour our freshly grilled seafood prepared on our new Floating Kitchen.
We have two different time frames all days 9:00am to 1:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm, check availability in our reservation system.
